Five people were taken to area hospitals Sunday following a multi-vehicle crash in North Miami Beach, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The collision happened at the intersection of Northeast 163rd Street and Northeast 29th Avenue, prompting a large emergency response. Paramedics evaluated everyone involved and transported all five victims for medical treatment. Authorities said all of the injured were in stable condition.
North Miami Beach Police temporarily closed portions of the roadway while first responders worked the scene and investigators assessed what led to the crash. The intersection has since reopened, and traffic is flowing normally.
Police have not yet released details on what caused the collision or how many vehicles were involved, and the investigation remains ongoing.
