Driver with gunshot wound hits pedestrian while driving to hospital in Miami

Source: NBC 6 South Florida A man who was shot struck a pedestrian while driving to the hospital in Miami early Saturday, authorities said.

Miami Police officials said the shooting happened in the area of Northwest 1st Avenue and 38th Street.

The man was shot and tried to drive himself to Jackson Memorial Hospital but on the way, he struck a pedestrian on Northwest 2nd Avenue, police said.

Both the driver and the pedestrian were hospitalized. Their identities and conditions weren’t released.

The investigation remains active.
