Three men were taken to the hospital after a serious multi-vehicle crash in Miami early Friday that forced the closure of a busy stretch of Northwest Seventh Street, police said. The crash happened around 4:20 a.m. near Northwest Seventh Street and 30th Avenue. Officers arrived to find widespread damage across the area. One car, a Ford Crown Victoria, was heavily damaged after crashing into a pole. Another vehicle, a dark-colored Nissan, plowed through a gate and ended up inside a used car lot. A third vehicle, a white pickup truck, was found stopped on a nearby sidewalk.
Paramedics transported the three injured men—ages 31, 35 and 79—to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Police said the youngest victim was listed in serious condition, the 35-year-old was stable, and the oldest victim remained in critical condition.
