Miami crash causes closure of South Dixie Highway near end of I-95

A traffic accident caused a lane closure in a busy part of Miami early Sunday morning.
It happened along South Dixie Highway where the road meets the southern end of I-95. Local 10’s cameras observed the two left lanes of South Dixie Highway blocked due to the crash.
It appears to have been between a box truck and the median of the roadway, but a large semi-truck was also observed at the scene.
Authorities have not provided any information on what led up to the crash, whether the semi-truck was involved or if there were any injuries.
The lanes remained closed into Sunday morning as authorities continued their investigation.
