Five people were hospitalized after an American Airlines flight landed in North Carolina this past weekend.

The airplane — which operated as Flight 1286 — landed at Raleigh-Durham International Airport just before midnight on Sunday, June 22, according to a report from the Associated Press.

The plane reportedly took off from Miami and hit turbulence before it landed. Once on the ground, Raleigh-Durham airport officials told the AP that fire and rescue crews were called to the airplane and took five people to the hospital.

Of the five people hospitalized, the AP said three were flight attendants and two were passengers. All were later released.

The “fasten seatbelt” sign was reportedly on whenever Flight 1286 hit the turbulence.
