A 61-year-old woman was struck and killed on Monday while crossing the street in Hialeah, according to police.
Video captured the fatal crash at East 4th Avenue and 49th Street.
The footage shows how a black Cadillac Escalade is stopped in the crosswalk and waiting to make a right turn as the victim starts to cross the street. When she’s in front of the Escalade, the driver turns and hits her.
Then, the video shows how the vehicle stops and the driver runs out to the woman, who is lying in the roadway. He can be seen looking at her and putting his hands on his head.
Authorities said the driver remained on the scene.
Authorities on Tuesday said the driver will not face any criminal charges.
