Crash shuts down I-95 near Miami Gardens Drive

A major crash shut down part of I-95 Sunday morning in Miami-Dade County.It happened near the Miami Gardens Drive exit north of the Golden Glades interchange.

Drivers were diverted off the highway as crews worked to clear the scene. One car could be seen on top of one of the guardrails beneath the bridge.Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said three people were injured and rushed to a nearby trauma center for treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
