Crashes shut down multiple stretches of southbound Interstate 95 in South Florida on Friday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol officials.
At I-95 and Hallandale Beach Boulevard, a front-to-rear crash involving seven vehicles sent multiple people to the hospital, authorities said.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
Four vehicles had to be towed from the scene, as lanes were blocked before 8 a.m.
Other crashes contributed to the heavy delays, including one on I-95 southbound at Stirling Road.
It involved four vehicles, but did not cause injuries, FHP said.
