A Pensacola woman who allegedly fled from the scene of an accident is facing serious charges after the trooper investigating the incident found she showed “no real care” over the wreck, according to the woman’s arrest report. The woman was arrested Sunday and charged with hit and run involving serious bodily injuries and making a false report to law enforcement. She was booked into the Escambia County Jail with a $6,000 bond, and county records indicated she was released from custody Monday. FHP responded around 10:45 p.m. Sunday to the crash on West Michigan Avenue where a Dodge Charger and a moped had collided. The woman who was riding the moped was transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The moped rider managed to take a photo of the Charger’s license plate, which she provided to law enforcement. No further details were released.
