According to a spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol, a Pompano Beach man died when his SUV was involved in a crash with a truck that was merging onto Interstate 95. Shortly after 10 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The scene has since been cleared by police. Investigators are still determining what caused the crash.
