Miami Police department reported that three teenagers have been injured following an accident on Fontainebleau Boulevard in NW Miami-Dade. A man is in an unconscious state and three other teenagers were seriously injured after a head-on crash on Fontainebleau Boulevard.
A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade police says the man was driving east on Fontainebleau Boulevard into the intersection near Northwest 6th Terrace. His hatchback then reportedly crossed over the center line into the opposite lane and crashed into the oncoming car. Police said the 18-year-old female driving the oncoming car was badly injured.
A 14-year-old boy in the hatchback also sustained injuries, though minor. Another 16-year-old boy, who was identified as the brother of the latter was severely injured. The man and the three teenagers were rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The Subaru driver was placed in a life-support system. Police is investigating the cause of the crash and no further information is made available.
