A 29 year old Boca Raton man was killed early Sunday morning at 1:54 a.m. when his
motorcycle hit a concrete wall on the entrance ramp to the Florida Turnpike. A
spokesperson for the Florida Highway Patrol says the driver was pronounced dead at
the scene. The motorcyclist was traveling west on Interstate 595 and took the
southbound entrance ramp to the Florida Turnpike. For unknown reasons, he rode onto
the shoulder and hit a concrete barrier wall. The impact threw him over the wall. He
landed on a grassy area between 595 lanes and the northbound entrance ramp for the
Turnpike. The accident remains under investigation.
