Multi-Vehicle Car Accidents in South Florida
Did you know that car accidents are the leading cause of death and injury due to trauma in the United States? In fact, over 40,000 lives are lost and approximately 6 million injuries result from around 18 million car accidents every year. Among the different types of car accidents, multivehicle car accidents are some of the most common serious. A multi-vehicle car accident is simply an accident involving multiple cars and/or drivers. A multi-vehicle accident can occur for multiple reasons including things like: distracted driving, drivers who disregard blind spots, drivers who merge onto a highway or express lane without looking to see if there are other cars nearby, drivers who speed excessively, aggressive driving, drivers who fail to see an oncoming car in a parallel lane, and drivers who fall asleep at the wheel to name a few. No one thinks they are going to be the one who gets into a car wreck but unfortunately these things happen and typically without warning. Most car accident claims are fairly simple to resolve but some may require expertise in the area of personal injury law and motor vehicle negligence. Car accidents can result in shocking consequences and depending on the seriousness of the impact, a person could sustain fractures, burns, amputations, and even brain and spinal cord injuries. Not to mention, hospital bills, car repairs, and general damages may start to add up after a car crash. After an accident in which you have been injured, think about getting some legal advice as soon as possible. An experienced car accident attorney will know how to handle your case properly and protect your rights.
