Emergency crews responded to a serious crash Saturday afternoon near Southwest 117th Avenue and 224th Street, officials said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reported that the collision occurred around 3:35 p.m. and involved at least eight people. More than half a dozen rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
One adult was transported by ambulance to a nearby trauma center, while two others with less severe injuries were taken to a local hospital. Five additional individuals were evaluated on site and later released, according to authorities.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and the investigation remains ongoing.
