Police have released footage of three suspects who they said were involved in a shooting that left three teens injured in Fort Lauderdale last month.
The shooting happened at around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 22, in a parking garage at 200 Las Olas Circle, police said.
Police said that a group of people was gathered on the top floor of a nearby parking garage when several suspects approached them and started shooting. Several 911 callers reported hearing at least 10 gunshots and people screaming.
When Fort Lauderdale Police responded to the area, they did not find any victims but later learned they were privately transported to Broward Health Medical Center. Aamori McGann, 18, and Janacia Davis, 19, were treated for their injuries and released shortly after, while 19-year-old Richard Murray was hospitalized for longer.
Police have since recovered a black sedan they believe was involved in the shooting. They also obtained surveillance footage from the parking garage that captured the shooting and the suspects.
There are no details as to what security measures were in place on the property to prevent crimes such as this.
