2 dead, 2 injured after hit-and-run crash involving street racing vehicles

Authorities are searching for several suspects who were involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed two people in Broward County.

It happened around midnight Sunday along the 3400 block of State Road 7 in Davie, just south of Interstate 595

According to police, three to four drivers were racing in the area when they hit two motorcycles that were carrying four people.

Two of the people on the motorcycles were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two were rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threating injuries.

Anyone with information is urged to call Davie police or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
