According to a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department, a driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into the entrance of a condominium complex in Aventura. The condo is located at the intersection of Northeast 31st Court and 183rd Street. The driver was airlifted and taken to the nearest hospital in critical condition. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the driver of the red sedan involved is believed to have had a medical emergency that resulted in the crash. Paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital in unknown condition. No further details have been released.
