Fatal crash blocks southbound lanes of I-95 in Hollywood

Reports of a fatal crash shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Hollywood Boulevard on Saturday morning.

Officials have not released further details, including the number of vehicles involved or the identity of the victim.

Traffic cameras showed Florida Highway Patrol troopers examining a gray pickup truck amid debris on the road, believed to be involved in the crash.

Motorists were advised to expect significant delays as crews worked to clear the roadway. FHP remains the lead agency investigating the crash.

It happened just hours after a fatal crash was reported on Florida’s Turnpike in Hollywood.
