Federal authorities are investigating the death of an 18-year-old passenger who died while on the Carnival Horizon during a Caribbean cruise.
The FBI identified the victim as Anna Kepner of Titusville, Florida. The ship returned to PortMiami on November 8, where agents boarded to begin their investigation.
Officials have not released information about how or where aboard the ship the young woman died, and the cause of death remains under review. Carnival Cruise Line said it is cooperating fully with the investigation and providing support to the victim’s family.
