A man is behind bars after police said he caused a crash by groping his driver in Miami on Saturday.
Oscar Ernesto Sanchez-Aguire, 26, is accused of covering the victim’s mouth and groping her as she was providing a driving service to the suspect.
The victim then reportedly lost control of the car and crashed in the area of Southwest Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street in Little Havana.
Video posted on Only in Dade shows the aftermath of the collision. The hood of one car is severely damaged, and there’s debris scattered in the roadway.
It was not immediately known if anyone was injured.
Sanchez-Aguire allegedly fled on foot but was later caught in a parking lot.
He was arrested on charges of battery and culpable negligence/exposure to personal injury.
On Monday, his bond was set at $1,450. He was told to stay away from the victim and he was also on an immigration hold.
