Miami-Dade police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left two adults and four children injured Friday. The crash involving three vehicles occurred in the area of NE 199th Street and Second Avenue. A blue minivan that appeared to be involved in the crash was spotted down the street. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials confirmed that they transported one adult as a trauma alert to Jackson North Medical Center. The second adult who was injured was taken to a local hospital by private ambulance. Officials said four children were airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. How to Choose the Right Car Accident Lawyer
Many motor vehicle accident victims have little idea how to choose the right lawyer to represent them. However, care must be taken to hire the right lawyer because motor vehicle accident cases require specific expertise. The family lawyer who helped the client with his or her house purchase and/or Will may not be the best lawyer to take on the collision claim. Most motor vehicle accident clients are involved in the healthcare system before their involvement with the legal system begins. This affords the clients an opportunity to ask questions of experts in the health care system such as physicians, doctors, and others about reputable and experienced lawyers who handle these kinds of cases. If you are thinking about hiring a lawyer and are unsure of which to choose, consider meeting with different firms and asking them some important questions to finalize a choice. Here are some basic questions you may want to consider asking an attorney before agreeing to hire them for your car accident case:
- How long has the lawyer been practicing law?
- How many personal injury cases has the lawyer handled?
- What is the lawyer’s success rate?
- Does the lawyer have the time to take on the case?
- Is the lawyer easy to contact?
- How does the lawyer calculate fees and when will they have to be paid?
